I just wanted to ask Tete, if compiling your private Firefox build, would run faster for AMD Zen2 Cpus if compiled with specific CPU flags while building?

Hello, AMD_Fox san. I'm sorry I don't know it, because I do not have Zen2 PC and I have not to build the optimized build for Zen2 architecture.

could you cross compile your optimized build for AMD Zen2 CPUs?
Im very interested to see, if there are some speed ups.
I could test it with my AMD CPU with some benchmark.

in these new versions it is no longer limited to the amount of processes firefox.exe is now unlimited, before I could select from 1 to 8, any way back to being able to select 1 to 8 again?

My dear author, thank you for compiling the Firefox browser. I have a request, can you make a portable version of Firefox? This means that the personal configuration folder is in the same place as the main body of the software, instead of the C drive, which can be put into the U disk and used everywhere.

Hello. Thank you for using my build.
Actually, my builds already have the feature you mentioned. You can make my build portable mode by creating a file named tmemutil.ini in the same folder as firefox.exe in my build, and writing the following:

[General]
Portable=1

[Env]
MOZ_LEGACY_PROFILES=1

Thank you for the infomation. I prematurely built my new builds based on the source code before it was erased...

The new release build based on the candidatest build2 seems to be fixed one bug in candidates build1. It would take a lot of time and effort to build the new builds from scratch, so I hope to apply the patch to build1 and rebuild it.

I looked through the bug 1741997 which was fixed the candidates build2, and it does not seem to affect Firefox for Windows. So, instead of making a new build based on build2, I would like to treat the build based on build1 as my release version of Firefox 94.0.2.

92.0.1用のja.xpiをインストールした後に一度終了して、再度firefoxを起動させると右クリックのメニューが英語に戻ってしまいます。他の方も同様の症状が起きていますでしょうか？

Same problem here with German language pack.

Uninstall language pack, restart Firefox, newly install language pack again, restart Firefox a second time. Problem gone - at least for my 4 installations. ;)
